What age can my child start lessons?

Students can begin lessons once they have cross body coordination. Usually this is around the age of three, but students can start lessons at any age after that. I have taught beginners from the age of three right up to fifteen.

How long are lessons?

Lesson lengths vary depending on the age and level of the student. Usually lessons are between half an hour to one hour.

Do you teach theory?

Yes I do. I incorporate theory into my violin teaching, but if you are after specific theory lessons to help before sitting a Trinity College or Royal Schools theory exam, I also offer separate lessons focussing solely on theory.
